In the Spring of 2002 I began writing a fan-fiction piece that attempted to build on The Matrix storyline. The first attempt was called The Ghost in the Machine and examined what might have happened to Agent Smith following the end of the first film after he is destroyed by Neo. My second attempt with Matrix fan-fiction involved the same characters as The Ghost in the Machine, yet moved the characters to a place twelve years before the events depicted in the film. A prequel of sorts, The Hecate Cycle is a more complex work that draws heavily on Greco-Roman mythology and is a psychological thriller/mystery functioning within the Hecate myth structure. Both works are accessible through fanfiction.net and I have provided links to those works from this page. In the future I will have an independent file at this site for these and other works. The Ghost in the Machine is complete, whereas The Hecate Cycle is an incomplete piece that I have, yet to finish. I do eventually plan on finishing it; however to write in the style that I have written The Hecate Cycle in takes a great deal of focus and time, two commodities which I do not current possess.
